The Summer of the Swedish Clog

Well hello sunshine! Summer is officially here and it’s time for your little girls to throw their sneakers in the closet and put a padlock on their sock drawer till fall. This season the hottest trend for tiny feet is the classic Swedish clog. Now don’t confuse this with Crocs or Birkenstocks (not that there’s anything wrong with them), which by all means would be considered a clog. A Swedish clog is a horse of a different color. Unlike its rubber counterparts, a Swedish clog always has a leather upper that is stapled (yes, I said stapled) to a wooden sole. These stylish little “clonkers” come in a huge array of colors and patterns and are known for their superior arch support. Plus they sound cool too. – Jill Topol
